Team Admin

Short definition

The controls for who is on the sales team and what each person can see and do, roles, permissions and lead ownership.

01In practice

How teams actually use it.

Team admin is the layer that makes a sales tool safe to give an entire team. It covers adding and removing people, setting roles (Admin, Manager, Rep), scoping what each role can see, reps their own leads, managers the whole team, and moving ownership when someone leaves or goes on leave. The reassignment path is the part teams discover too late: when a rep departs, their pipeline should transfer with grades and history intact, not reset to blank records. In Leadkaun, ownership changes are made by an admin or manager one lead at a time, and because pricing is flat per account rather than per seat there is no cost incentive to share logins, which is what keeps the accountability data honest in the first place.

02Worked examples

Three ways it shows up.

  • 01

A manager sees the whole team's Priority Queues; a rep sees only their own.

  • 02

A departing rep's 40 open leads are reassigned with grades and logged history intact.

03Check it yourself

How to tell where you actually stand.

Access questions surface at the worst moment, usually when someone leaves.

  1. 01Write down who can export your full lead list today.
  2. 02Check whether that matches who should be able to.
  3. 03Then check whether you would know afterwards if they had.
