In practice

Fit Score is the static component of lead scoring. It tells you whether a lead is a good match for your product, independent of how engaged they are. Leadkaun's default weights favour industry match (30%) and geography (20%), reflecting the reality that Indian B2B sales often gates on vertical expertise and regional presence. The weights are fixed and transparent, so every rep can see why a lead is Grade A; your ICP, the industries, geographies, roles and budget bands that define your best customers, is configured once per account.

    A real-estate team in Bengaluru matches 'industry=real-estate' (30) + 'geography=tier-1' (20) + 'business-type=agency' (20) = 70 Fit.

Check it yourself

How to tell where you actually stand.

Fit is about whether you can sell to them at all, which is easy to confuse with whether they want to talk.

  1. 01List last year's lost deals where the buyer was engaged throughout and still did not close.
  2. 02Check how many were outside your usual size, sector or budget band from the first message.
  3. 03Those were fit problems, and no amount of follow-up would have moved them.
