ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

Short definition

The firmographic profile of your best-fit customers. Drives the Fit Score component of lead scoring.

01In practice

How teams actually use it.

ICP defines who you sell to best. It typically captures: industry, company size, geography, role of primary buyer, and budget tier. Leadkaun's default ICP templates are pre-configured for 12 Indian B2B verticals (real estate, EdTech, BFSI, etc.) so teams can onboard without defining ICP from scratch. You configure your ICP once per account, and the scoring weights stay fixed and transparent, so grades are consistent across your team.

02Worked examples

Three ways it shows up.

  • 01

EdTech ICP: Indian K-12 school, 500+ students, admissions head as buyer, ₹5L+ annual software spend.

  • 02

Real estate ICP: Tier-1 city, 5-30 rep agency, developer builder as partner.
