Intent Score
Short definition
A 0–100 score measuring how engaged a lead is, with time-based decay. Source baseline + call (+15) + WhatsApp reply (+10) + meeting (+25) — minus 3 points/day after engagement threshold.
How teams actually use it.
Intent Score captures buying readiness. Unlike a static score, Intent rises when leads engage (replies, meetings, website revisits) and decays when they go silent. The decay is critical — it's what makes 'stale Grade A' automatically drop to Grade B without manager intervention. Intent Score floor is the source baseline (a referral starts higher than a cold ad click).
Three ways it shows up.
- 01
A lead who replies to WhatsApp gains +10. If silent for 5 days, drops −15.
- 02
A meeting-booked signal is +25 — often enough to push Grade C to Grade A.

Lead Scoring
A system that ranks every lead by how likely they are to convert, typically across three dimensions: Fit (ICP match), Intent (engagement), Quality (data reliability).
Intent Decay
The automatic drop in a lead's Intent Score over time with no engagement — typically −3 points per day after an engagement threshold.
SQL (Sales-Qualified Lead)
A lead whose Intent Score has crossed the sales-ready threshold — typically triggering an immediate alert to the assigned rep.
