How to Manage JustDial Leads (When Speed Decides the Deal)

TL;DR

JustDial shares a customer's number with several listed vendors at once, so the first credible call usually wins. Export your JustDial leads to CSV, import into Leadkaun, grade every one A–F on arrival, then work the Priority Queue fast — on JustDial, minutes matter more than almost anywhere else. Runs alongside your CRM.

01Why this matters

The bet behind the playbook.

When someone enquires on JustDial, the lead goes to multiple listed vendors simultaneously — you're competing on who calls first, not just on price. Add JustDial's usual mix of low-detail, phone-only leads and price-shoppers, and working them in arrival order quietly loses deals to whoever grades and calls faster.

02What you need first

Gather these before you start.

  • A JustDial seller account (JD Omni / dashboard) with lead export
  • ICP configured so grading is meaningful
  • A Leadkaun account (any tier, including Free)
03The steps

Run it in order.

  1. 01

    Export from JustDial

From your JD Omni or seller dashboard, export the day's leads to CSV (or download the lead list). JustDial leads are usually name + phone + a short requirement.

  2. 02

    Import into Leadkaun

Settings → Leads → Import; map name, phone and requirement. Indian phone-number parsing handles JustDial's formats and dedups repeats.

  3. 03

    Grade to filter the noise

Each lead is scored A–F on arrival. Thin, junk or repeat numbers score low on Quality; genuine, in-ICP enquiries surface as Grade A/B — so the queue reflects real buyers, not arrival order.

  4. 04

Call fast, top of the queue

Because JustDial shares the enquiry with several vendors, speed-to-lead is decisive. Work the Priority Queue top-down and aim to reach Grade A within the hour, while you're still the first caller.

  5. 05

Log the outcome in 3 taps

JustDial buyers often move to a call or WhatsApp — log stage, intent and outcome in 3 taps (any WhatsApp account, no API). Intent updates the grade and keeps the queue honest.

  6. 06

    Re-import daily

Phone-number dedup means re-importing the day's list only adds genuinely new leads. A native JustDial sync is on the roadmap.

04Mistakes to avoid

Where teams usually slip.

  • Calling JustDial leads in arrival order — grade and speed decide, not who came in first
  • Slow first response — on JustDial a faster vendor simply takes the deal
  • Treating every JustDial enquiry as a real buyer — let the Quality score flag the junk numbers
  • Importing without an ICP — fit scoring needs it to be useful
